Some highlights of our first family trip to the zoo…
This is about all of Charlotte you’ll see from this trip - she spent most of her time asleep in the back of the stroller (about 15 minutes maybe) or in the sling around my neck. So, there’s her sling strap!
My favorite exhibit, the coke […]

Well, we saw him at the mall if that counts. I was prepared for the worst so I was pleasantly surprised that only half of our crew lost their cool when sitting with Santa.
We had a ton of really cute Christmas outfits but the random afternoon we went to see him, it was 60 […]
Norah’s Titans cheerleader dress was given to her by her Mama Lynette for Christmas last year. Charlotte’s was given to her by her Grannie this year! Kind of cool I think.
I think we chose the last warm-ish day to play in the leaves in our yard. It was random but it was fun.
Fun times. Fun times.
Has it really been almost 2 weeks since I blogged? What in the world is wrong with me?!?
It’s not that I haven’t wanted to, believe me. Everytime my kids do something cute I think - ooh - blog. But, when I get some free time I have to work or attempt to […]
We had a really laid back Halloween this year. Met Mom for lunch and Norah pranced around her office in her Panda Costume. Came home for a nap, and then went to about 3 houses to trick or treat in our neighborhood. When the people at the first house didn’t answer the […]
I never knew how important it is to take food to families who have just welcomed a new baby into their home until we brought Norah home last summer. Since then, I have tried to chip in and help when I could by taking food to my friends when they have a need. […]

It’s been too long, right?
Here’s a few photos to catch you up with the new kid on the block AND the big sister.
Amanda came for a week to stay with us and help me adjust to life as a mom of two. Since I already wrote her an overly sappy card to thank her […]
Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
