Some highlights of our first family trip to the zoo…
This is about all of Charlotte you’ll see from this trip - she spent most of her time asleep in the back of the stroller (about 15 minutes maybe) or in the sling around my neck. So, there’s her sling strap!
My favorite exhibit, the coke […]

On Christmas Morning we enjoyed getting up leisurely and bringing the girls out to read the Christmas Story from the Bible and open a few presents under the tree.(Do you see how awesome our rocking chair looks? It was given to us by our friends the Lyons Family when Norah joined our family. […]
Christmas Eve morning was spent at home. Norah helped me in the kitchen mixing up our goodies to bake and take to Daddy George’s house.
Perhaps it was here that she snuck a safety pin into the mixer…because Brad bit into one later in the afternoon and got a nice little surprise. Guess that […]
I wanted to get some sweet pictures of my girls that I could use on Christmas cards. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I don’t even know what I was thinking, but Steph offered her home and gorgeous Christmas tree as a backdrop, so I loaded up the girls, several coordinating outfits, accessories and appropriate props and drove an hour […]
My little baby is growing growing. She is starting to smile more when you talk to her and coo back at us every now and then. She’s becoming more able to spend a few minutes alone under her playmat or in her swing. She’s looking around a lot more and starting to […]
Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
