I know I talk about Encores & More North Childrens Consignment Sale every time it rolls around, but trust me, its for a good reason. Well, really a few good reasons.
Reason One: My dear friend Brea and her husband Jonathan own the sale. They are honest and hardworking people and they do […]
I can’t even believe I am typing this.
I took this picture on Wednesday morning…my sweet and innocent little baby girl, looking beautiful in her dress that Christy made for her. We had a fun day playing with friends and going to church. She slept all night in her crib.
And the next day she […]
Poor Norah would be jealous if she knew that while she was having fun at school, her little sister was getting to play with her buddy Mary Elizabeth! Don’t tell her…but here are some really cute pictures.
Charlotte’s little Ralph Lauren polo dress is from her Aunt Amanda and coincidentally so are the leggings, though […]
At Norah’s school they do a really sweet Christmas Program each year. Her class does a little parade in wagons during the song “Jingle Bells”, so Norah proudly shook her bells like a good girl. She was really cute.
After the parade, Norah came and sat with Dick, Leslie and Sarah while I sat […]
Quick photo from a Tuesday when my lovely assistant Kate is working with me…this is typical around here these days.
We’ve always referred to Landon as Norah’s big brother too, so now I guess he has another little sister! He had a little cold the day they visited us to meet Charlotte, so they stopped by after school one day this week so he could hold her. I can’t believe he is five […]
Charlotte and August are only 3 days apart in age, but they are a few extra pounds apart in size! Aren’t they cute here at their first playdate?
It wore Charlotte out so much that she had to take a nap with Daddy after he got home from work.
I never knew how important it is to take food to families who have just welcomed a new baby into their home until we brought Norah home last summer. Since then, I have tried to chip in and help when I could by taking food to my friends when they have a need. […]

Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
