Poor Norah would be jealous if she knew that while she was having fun at school, her little sister was getting to play with her buddy Mary Elizabeth! Don’t tell her…but here are some really cute pictures.
Charlotte’s little Ralph Lauren polo dress is from her Aunt Amanda and coincidentally so are the leggings, though […]
Charlotte and August are only 3 days apart in age, but they are a few extra pounds apart in size! Aren’t they cute here at their first playdate?

Of course, I know it’s not officially here yet, but one afternoon of mild weather and I want to pull out my sweaters and sprinkle leaves on my fireplace mantle!

I can’t believe in all my years working for the Boys & Girls Club that I never ever went to the Discovery Center. I mean, I knew it was wonderful and heard LOTS of great feedback about it every time we sent the kids there on a trip - I just never happened to […]
On Tuesday after I picked Norah up from school, we went over to Amy’s for a little while to check out her new Photoshop Elements program. While I have been using the full version of Photoshop and several other applications for a while now, I had never had any experience with PSE, and I […]

“Interim Care” is one of those adoption terms that is tossed around but maybe never explained fully to those outside our world. Let me elaborate. Many times women give birth and are still undecided about placing their babies for adoption. In these cases, the baby doesn’t need to be placed with an […]
On our way home from Bolivar we stopped at North Park in Jackson - a huge new beautiful playground with tons of padded playground surfaces and brightly colored playground equipment. I really wish it wasn’t 100 degrees or we could have stayed and played all afternoon…however, it was pretty hot so our little ones […]
Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
