“The Holy Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot express.”Romans 8:26
Over the past three months we have been investigating some concerning medical symptoms that […]
Norah insists on giving Charlotte “fist bumps” whenever she catches her hands in a fist…
Norah’s also currently obsessed with our cat (and any cat for that matter)…
And here’s a couple more of Charlotte cuddling with her Daddy. Wearing a cute striped outfit from our friend Becca for the last time because she has outgrown […]
Norah and Charlotte have a special bond as sisters. I am sure that all parents experience this when they have multiple children, but it’s just fantastic to see first-hand. When Charlotte hears Norah’s voice, her face lights up and she will gasp in laughter. It’s precious. And Norah, as spirited as […]
Skipping Christmas photos for the moment because its a larger task. And I need to work within my time window this morning…
Nonie made Norah these stinkin’ cute ruffle pants because the Matilda Jane ones I bought her are way too big for now. We LOVE them Nonie!!!
Charlotte is growing so much and her […]
My little baby is growing growing. She is starting to smile more when you talk to her and coo back at us every now and then. She’s becoming more able to spend a few minutes alone under her playmat or in her swing. She’s looking around a lot more and starting to […]
Norah’s Titans cheerleader dress was given to her by her Mama Lynette for Christmas last year. Charlotte’s was given to her by her Grannie this year! Kind of cool I think.
I think we chose the last warm-ish day to play in the leaves in our yard. It was random but it was fun.
Fun times. Fun times.
My assistant Kate brought Norah this adorable new purse and she is so proud of it.
I thought Norah looked so sweet in all this pink and decided that we needed to take advantage of the few colorful leaves in our yard. So we did.
Everybody say “awwww….”
I never knew how important it is to take food to families who have just welcomed a new baby into their home until we brought Norah home last summer. Since then, I have tried to chip in and help when I could by taking food to my friends when they have a need. […]
So, I can already tell my time for blogging is going to take a nose dive for a little while. I am trying to make myself grab the camera for moments like this (and many more I have to share when I can find some time that doesn’t interfere with sleeping) but it is […]
Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
