I think we’re coming to the end of an era in regards to Norah’s shoes.
I have loved putting her in Pediped Shoes since she was just a few months old. She’s currently wearing the 12-18 month size in the Pediped Originals style, with the soft leather soles. This translates into about a size […]
One of my favorite blogs to read is Grosgrain. Every few days she makes a new hand-sewn clothing item and gives it away. Yep - just gives it away. Today is the Wandering Waif Collection GIVEAWAY !!!!!!! I am so excited because it’s Norah’s size and style I think. Go […]
Styling Norah’s hair is challenging and fun for me. It’s fun to play with different clips and patterns and twists (and one day braids, etc). Currently the mini spider claw clips are working great on top of some little twisty puffs. I got creative this week and split the front two puffs […]
Every now and then a little package shows up with Norah’s name on it, and its usually from a certain Grannie…This sweet sweater dress was the latest and we’re not sure if it’s too big or if she’ll grow into it enough over the next 3-4 months. It’s size 18-24 months. I like […]
Sunday after church I had to take Norah outside because I wanted a picture of her in this adorable Baby Lulu Cherry Blossom romper that I got at the consignment sale on Saturday.
This is how Norah says she is “so big!” It is also the way she says “all done” so I am not […]
Today was Norah’s first day back to Mother’s Day Out and boy were we both ready for it!
Rewind to Back to School Eve last night…Grammy and Granddaddy got Norah her Stephen Joseph quilted backpack to carry to school each day. We decided to let her try it on and practice last night before bed.
Saying […]
The last time we took Norah to the park together was back in February! The girls have been a few more times while Daddy was at work, but it’s hard to take the camera and wrangle the baby on my own. Anyway, we ventured over to the park after dinner this weekend to […]
Dear Norah,Fourteen months is a whole new ballgame for you. After discovering and practicing your walking skills during month thirteen, you’re extremely mobile now and that scares me to death is very exciting.
Grannie found some old t-shirts of Mommy’s (in the same box as the dress) and lo and behold, they are just your […]
When I was in jr high I was gone for two weeks in the summer. I went to Mountain TOP (church camp) for a week, came home for one night, and then left for a week in Panama City with Christy and her family. When I came home after the first week, there […]
Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
