It’s Sunday night about 11:45PM.
We have raised $12,600.
There are no words to describe how humbled we are that you would share with us. It is nothing we have done - it is ALL God and we thank you for your obedience to His call.
We spent the weekend in West TN celebrating Granddaddy’s 60th Birthday. […]
It’s a cool story how we came to be friends with little Noah and his family! His Mom, Kim, contacted me about a Celebrating Adoption photo session for their family in honor of Noah’s little brother Josh’s adoption from Kazakhstan. But she also casually mentioned that she heard from a friend (remember Gretchen […]
Cousin Hank celebrated his birthday in style today with a Pirate Birthday Party. Shai worked so hard to pull together all these awesome details to make Hank’s day as cool as he is.

Whew. It’s been a whirlwind of a day. You know the kind of day that seems like it could have been about 3 days packed into one? That was today. But in a good way.
This morning we ran errands…I needed to pick up Mary Elizabeth’s gift from the Peanut Gallery Toy […]
Since I didn’t have the camera the whole day, there are lots of fun pictures that I found when I looked back through. Here are some of my favorites by Kyle, Christy, and a few that I took as well.
Check out My Mom’s Blog and Christy’s for some more party fun!
The Birthday Girl was quite a character on Saturday. Her normal morning naptime is 10-12, so I scheduled the party from 1-3, thinking she’d get a good nap ahead of the party, we could feed her, bathe her and have her dressed in time, and then she’d be okay to hang in there through […]
This is my favorite part! (I did get the camera back for these…she didn’t need too much of my help for this task.)
I had Joy make Norah an extra-large vanilla cupcake with the same cream cheese icing that was on the other cupcakes and it turned out so cute. We stripped the Birthday […]
Back at Christmas, Norah wasn’t really big enough to get into opening her gifts. But at her first birthday party, I think it was the thing she did the best!
A big thank you to my brother Kyle for handling the camera during the party. He took all of these pictures and did a […]
OK - I have decided to break this birthday party into a few posts so things don’t get too crazy.
Planning Norah’s first birthday party was really fun. If you know me, you know that I love details. When I photograph weddings, I go straight for the details like flowers, cakes, rings, ties, hands […]
Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
