sharing the bigger picture of our adoption story
I guess it wouldn’t be spring in Tennessee without tornados flying around.
Our home is just a few miles down the road from the path of the storm. Thankfully we didn’t sustain any damage in our home, but others were not as fortunate.
Brea and her kids and the girls and I were all hanging out […]
Anyone else think their husband is so HOT when they wear pink? I am in LOVE with this picture of Brad and Norah. My two best friends!
The sun came out from behind a cloud and instead of beautiful soft filtered daylight, we got harsh shadows that I cannot rescue on our faces. […]
We were super excited to see Brad’s Grandmother on Saturday night.
We got home from our outing, and Norah went straight to bed, worn out from no nap because she was so busy having fun. The guys went to pick up Grandmother, so the girls set to work making the historic Bunny Cake. Apparently, Grammy & Aunt Lucy used to make this cake with […]
We decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and get out around town a bit. We got Norah ready and Lucy was enjoying a snuggle for a bit.
Norah got her ears on and was ready to go!
Hank was running a little behind in the getting dressed department
The local John Deere place was having […]
Saturday morning we got Norah up and Granddaddy fed her a bottle
She was so excited to see that cousin Hank had arrived while she was asleep
Grammy & Norah looked so cute in their pj’s - they were like two peas in a pink pod
Katy was worn out from swimming the day before
Grandaddy couldn’t have been […]
We have enjoyed our Good Friday hanging with Grammy, Granddaddy and Aunt Lucy
Grammy fed Norah her breakfast

Grammy & Aunt Lucy took us shopping to pick out some fun new dresses and […]
A little bunny stopped by our house this week…
We had the best time with Aunt Amanda when she stayed with us a few days for her Spring Break. She caught bunny fever as well it seems.
I am sure you’re hoping for a deep post, but all I have to say tonight is:

Our adoption story was written long ago, not by us but by our Creator. His plan to adopt us into His family through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ planted seeds in our hearts that came to life in June 2007 when we welcomed Norah into our family through a domestic adoption. Though the little details of this blog may be about our adoption story, we hope our thoughts and images might inspire you to look into the bigger picture of God's plan for your life - to adopt you into His family as one of His children.
